The working principle of power steering pump

After the drive wheel drives the rotor to rotate, the blades expand under the action of centrifugal force, and form a working cavity with the stator, rotor, and oil distribution plate.
When the rotor and blades rotate from the small arc area to the large arc area on the inner surface of the stator , The volume between the two blades increases, the pressure decreases, and the oil is sucked through the oil suction port of the oil distribution plate;
When changing from a large arc area to a small arc area, the volume between the two blades decreases and the pressure increases.
The oil is discharged through the oil discharge port of the pressure plate, and the discharged high-pressure oil enters the steering gear through the steering oil pipe to provide steering assistance.
